Caring For Your Sunglasses
When you find a pair of sunglasses that look great and feel awesome, you can become pretty attached to them. The trouble is, most sunglasses are a big part of an active and sometimes extreme outdoor lifestyle, so they can often be susceptible to wear & tear. Here are some tips to help you hold on to your sunnies and keep them in good condition and looking slick.

Wash regularly with warm water to remove any dirt, grime, sweat and especially salt water after a day on the ski! If you need to use any soap in this process do not use any abrasive cleaners, soaps or detergents that may leave a deposit on the lens. Once clean, make sure to dry them completely.  Do not use tissues with added lotions, lanolin, silicone or other cleaners; they will leave a film on the lens. We find using the cleaning cloth which comes with your sunglasses best paired with a soft microfibre cloth.

Storing, Travel or when not in use

Whenever you are not using your Aventur sunglasses, the Best practice is to keep them stored within your soft carry pouch and inside the hard Aventur carry case. We know one of the main places people keep sunglasses is on the dash of their car for easy access. However, this is not a great place to leave them, especially when in direct sunlight for a long period of time. Inside cars on a typical Aussie summer's day get HOT! It's very rare, however, this can potentially weaken frames.

The multiple coatings on your lenses are resistant to light scratching, however heavy, abusive scratching can break through the coatings and cause visible marks. Significantly help prolong the life of your lenses by removing dirt and other particles with good cleaning practices and keep your sunglasses in their case while not in use. Good cleaning practices will also help minimise scratching.
